Visit New Zealand's famous fjord on this trip to Milford
Sound. You'll enjoy a two-hour cruise past waterfalls and mountains as well as
meet sea lions.
At 7 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Queenstown to
set off on our trip to the Milford Sound Fjord. Onboard the minibus (complete
with wifi) we'll head to the west coast of New Zealand.
On our 3 and a half-hour drive along local roads, we'll
admire forests, small towns, rivers and springs such as the magnificent Lake Te
Anau. We'll also make several stops to admire the surroundings of Mirror Lake,
Eglinton Valley, Monkey Creek and much more.
As soon as we arrive at Milford Sound, we'll board the boat
that will sail us off on a cruise along the fjord. Did you know it's a
registered UNESCO World Heritage Site?
For two hours we'll marvel at cascading waterfalls, lush
vegetation and towering mountains. We'll also come across native birds, sea
lions and, hopefully, some dolphins. Our boat ride will be topped off with a
buffet lunch onboard.
At the end of the tour,
we'll make our way back to the hotels in Queenstown, arriving by around 7:30
pm.
